Sitting is a Kind of Sedentary Behavior, Like Seriously?!

As you can see on the title, it is a kind of shocking statement ain't it? I know it is. You can't believed it? Yes, I knew it sounded unbelievable. Well, let me tell you why I came up with this statement. Here is why,
First thing first, let me ask you this. When you are in your office or classroom doing your works, did you tend to move so much or less? Or, how about when you are stuck in a heavy traffic during the peak hours in your car? You will tend to less moving, right? This is why scientists has came up with a statement which they said this kind of sitting for a long time is known as "sitting disease". According to Ergotron (2010) the sitting disease term is a term which scientific community referred to metabolic syndrome and ill-effect of an overly sedentary lifestyle.
It is also said that sitting gives pleasures and it also feels good even when it is being done for the whole day as people get used to it. "Sitting is more dangerous than smoking, kills more people than HIV and is more treacherous than parachuting. We are sitting ourselves to death" (Levine, as cited in Gerstacker, 2014).
